Tocadisco is based in Cologne / Germany. He started his musical career in his early years, got into DJing with the age of 16 and turned into a proffessional in the year 2000. Without a classic musical education he tought himself how to play several instruments and got into producing. In 2004 Tocadisco released his first own single Nobody likes the records that I play. The single became a worldwide success. After one year of heavy touring around the globe, 2005 became an even more successfull year for the 30 year old producer and DJ. His remix for Mylos single In your Arms became one of the most played records during the summer of 2005. Countless remixes followed for: Axwell&Ingrosso, the Egg, AStudio, ATB, HiTack, Philippe B., Flatpack a.m.m. Tocadisco released an own single in 2005 Youre no good for me. He also releases under the name: AC/OT. In 2005 he released 3 four-track EPs containing remixes by John Dahlbäck and Martinez. In 2006 Tocadisco is currently working on his first album. A new single is coming soon “MusicLoud/CrazyCursor” and he produced remixes for Deep Dish, New Order, Mylo, Black Eyed Peas and the Pet Shop Boys. 1996 begann Tocadiscos Karriere als Club-DJ im Düsseldorfer Club “Unique”. 2000 zog der gebürtige Berliner Tocadisco dann nach Köln und errichtete dort sein erstes amtliches Studio. Ab dieser Zeit gingen Auflegen und Produzieren bei ihm Hand in Hand, und er konnte in jeder Clubnacht eigene heiße Tracks und die zunächst vielen Remix-Arbeiten auflegen, die ihrerseits die Karriere hoch und höher schraubten: Tocadisco remixte den Klassiker “Lifetimes” von Slam – sein Mix wurde zu einem der 12 besten Remixe des Jahres 2001 von den Lesern des Magazins “Groove” gewählt. Weiter auf der Karriereleiter im elektrolastig rockenden Vier-Viertel-Takt gings 2003: Tocadiscos erste Single für das erfolgreiche “Superstar Recordings” machten ihn schnell zum selbigen: Superstar mit MTV-Präsenz! “Nobody (Likes The Records That I Play)” schaffte es sogar in die Top 40 der offiziellen deutschen Verkaufscharts – dort war es in den letzten Jahren eher Ausnahme, dass Dance Stücke sich platzierten…

Die Erfolgsmeldungen und Zahlenspielchen kann man im Falle Tocadisco beliebig weiterführen: Im Jahre 2005 wurde Tocadisco von der “Raveline” zu einem der besten Newcomer 2004 gewählt. 2005 und 2006 remixte er dicke Acts wie Mylo, die Black Eyed Peas und Moby. Big Business, das er kürzlich mit seinem ersten Alleingang im Longplayer-Format kürte. Heute gibt´s sicherlich einiges aus seinem frischen Album “Solo” zu hören. Von einem der eifrigsten Verfechter des tanzbaren und erfolgreichen Elektrohouse- und Tech-House-Sounds “Made In Germany”!
