The groove of the opener, the funnily named “Seated Hopping” grips you in the underbelly and shuffles you upside down with its deep, dubby flavor that will have you hopping on your seats in no time, the cherry on the icing being the dark, down-pitched vocals that haunt you on the rise.

A culmination of the early Swayzak years , SIA is finally re-issued as it should be. Ten years on it is deemed as a classic by many for its deep and melancholic house tendencies - it is also inspired by darker detroit / berlin techno edge, with a hint of dub reggae and ambient padisms thrown in.

The creation of this LP was a truly minimal experiment and each mix was hand crafted, culminating in hours of DAT recordings to sift through. Some of our tracks lasted 30 minutes (nowadays deemed genius, but then to quote a journalist “who has the time to listen to this ?” ) many were edited down manually. Now with the technology, time and money we have edited and remastered SIA , compiled from two versions that were originally released in UK and USA.

New sub-division Lessizmore Limited is the occasion for us to produce new artists and to release their work in a beautiful colored 10”, 500 copy limited pressing for audiophiles. The first release is focused on two new hopes of 2009: Jin Choi and Dop.

French trio Dop does a complete rework of the track, adding their own voices, some punchy percussions and a pinch of sex appeal. They keep the original vocals and instruments but use it in such a different way that makes it look funnier.

Nothing is more special and fascinating than the multi-spectral facets of “Snowflakes”, a slightly frosty snow bite of a track: Kirsch and Dubnitzky, joining forces in the studio, are an ice cold guarantee for a floor shaking experience. In this case it’s the driving bass drums that create a forward movement whereas the sweet synth breaks make you lose in the swirls of snowy crystals. Truly stunning.
